Cupping Report

Friday afternoon is the time we like to finish up a little early and have a couple of beers, reflect on the week, look forward with the weekend up right ahead.

But Phil, our head roaster was far more focussed on some tasty coffees that were coming into the country. A host of coffees were put on the table by Collaborative Coffee Source.

What was different about these coffees?

Coming up great on the table were a few washed and natural coffees. These are high level coffees, they cost a little more, but its worth the investment we think.

This will affect our buying programme, we expect to be bringing in a number of new coffees soon. Six months ago, we brought a container-load of Guatemalans into the country and they've been so successful we're about to run out. We're looking at restocking with some fresh crop Columbians and Brazilians to name a few.

Watch this space for more on this.
